This Privacy Policy describes how PeepulAgri Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the iDhara mobile application ("iDhara", "the app") for monitoring and controlling agricultural motor starters and pumpsets.

1. Summary
- iDhara is an IoT motor-control app for farmers. It connects your phone to motor starters and pumpsets you own.
- We collect the information you give us at sign-up (name, mobile number, email, address) and the information needed to operate your motors (location of the pumpset, motor IDs, telemetry like voltage / current / faults).
- We do not track you for advertising. We do not sell or share your data with data brokers. We do not show third-party ads.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. Once deleted, your information is permanently removed from our servers.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose. To make basic features work, the app delivers push notifications through Google Firebase and fetches weather forecasts from WeatherAPI.com — these are the only outside services involved, and neither receives your personal account details.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly

We do not collect:
- Contacts, calendar, microphone audio, SMS contents, or call history.
- Health, biometric, or fitness data.
- Background-location traces.
- Browsing history outside iDhara.
- Information from other apps on your phone.
3. How we use your information
We use the data above strictly to:
- Operate the core features — authenticate you, link you to your physical motors, send commands, receive telemetry, and store schedules and settings.
- Deliver push notifications — alert you to motor state changes, faults, and recharge events.
- Show weather for your farm location on the Dashboard.
- Provide customer support — when you contact us, we may use your account details to identify and assist you.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse — detect suspicious login attempts, prevent unauthorized access to motor controls.
- Comply with legal obligations — respond to lawful requests from government authorities.
We do not use your data for:
- Behavioural advertising or ad targeting.
- Sale to third parties.
- Building profiles for use by other companies.
- Training third-party AI models.
4. App permissions
iDhara requests the following operating-system permissions. Each is requested only when the related feature is used:

You may revoke any of these permissions at any time in your phone's system Settings. Revoking notifications stops alerts. Revoking location disables auto-coordinates and weather. Revoking camera or photos disables device pairing. Other features remain available.
5. Service providers we use to operate the app
iDhara does not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose. To make basic features work, the app communicates with the following operational service providers, strictly for technical delivery:

All other data (your account profile, motors, schedules, settings, and telemetry) stays within iDhara's own systems operated by PeepulAgri Private Limited.
We do not integrate with:
- Advertising networks (no AdMob, no Meta Audience Network).
- Analytics SDKs that track users across apps (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no AppsFlyer).
- Data brokers.
- Social-media trackers.
We may disclose information to law-enforcement or government authorities only when legally compelled by a valid Indian court order, summons, or equivalent legal process.

7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you. Request it by emailing info@peepulagri.com from your registered email address.
- Correct any inaccuracies. Most fields can be edited directly in Profile. For others, contact support.
- Delete your account and all associated data. Open the app, go to Profile → Delete Account, confirm the prompt. Deletion is final. Within 30 days, your profile, motor associations, schedules, settings, push token, and authentication credentials are permanently removed from our systems. Anonymised motor telemetry may be retained for product safety auditing.
- Withdraw consent at any time by revoking permissions in your phone Settings, by logging out, or by deleting your account.
- Opt out of notifications by disabling them in your phone Settings or by uninstalling the app.
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority in your jurisdiction (in India, the Data Protection Board once constituted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.), the rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection apply to you as well. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Security
We protect your information by:
- Encrypting all data while it travels between your phone and our systems.
- Verifying your identity at sign-in with a one-time password sent to your mobile number.
- Limiting access to your account information to authorised PeepulAgri personnel only.
- Never storing sensitive credentials in plain text on your device.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities within the timeframes required by law.
9. Children's privacy
iDhara is rated 4+ in the App Store but is intended for adults who own and operate agricultural equipment. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
iDhara is not in the App Store "Kids" category and does not target children.
